Description of Work

Transform lives by Teaching (planning, designing implementing) and evaluating effective educational programming in basic nutrition, food safety, food preparation and food resource management for limited resource audiences in assigned region. Must be able to access learner at appropriate places and times. Ability to travel within service area.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in nutrition, family and consumer science, education or closely related field. Bachelor’s must be completed by start date. Must be a self-starter with excellent organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to teach in informal non-traditional settings. Ability to keep accurate records and prepare reports. Knowledge of word processing necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership and teamwork skills. Knowledge of spreadsheet, presentation and data management software preferred. Experience working with low-resource families desirable. Experience with program implementation and evaluation a plus.
