Description of Work

Provide student-athletes with life skills counseling, program assistance, and monitor progress. Coordinate the nomination of deserving student-athletes for leadership and citizenship recognition. Meet with prospective student-athletes and families on regular basis. Assist with all outreach and letter winner events. Plan, organize, and direct annual events including major reunions, seminars, retreats, breakfasts, and career fairs. Evening hours and weekends required.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree plus two years related experience in an educational setting required. Major event planning experience required. Proven presentation skills essential. Technology skills a must.

Preferred Qualifications

Prefer Master’s degree; experience in student-athlete counseling; working knowledge and proven compliance with institutional, conference, and NCAA rules.
