Description of Work

Monitor the operational integrity of the UNL network, the continuing operation of UNL systems, data centers and providing support for University Security team & Computer Help Desk. Assist customers contacting a 24-hour-a-day/7-day-a-week UNL Operations Center serving the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and State of Nebraska. This person must also demonstrate a strong track record of proven customer service skills.

Minimum Required Qualifications

High school diploma plus 2 years of related experience, including computer and customer service experience required; equivalency considered. Demonstrated general knowledge of computers and associated software necessary. Must have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills. Proven problem solving and diagnostic skills essential.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with monitoring tools for networks and systems preferred. Familiarity with University and State entities desirable.
