Description of Work

Provide secretarial support for faculty, staff and students. Duties include action as point of contact for employees and visitors, preparing correspondence, event planning, file maintenance, presentation development, and web page maintenance. Other duties as assigned. Position is temporary for up to two years.

Minimum Required Qualifications

High School or Equivalent experience. Four years office or secretarial experience. Working knowledge of general office practices and office equipment. PC-based word processing (presentation, publishing, web development) and spreadsheet software program skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate or equivalent education/experience. Working knowledge of UNL. Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Detail oriented and accurate with strong organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and work independently within established procedures.
