Description of Work

The successful candidate is expected to establish a nationally recognized and extramurally funded research program. The successful candidate will contribute to the undergraduate and graduate teaching missions of the School of Biological Sciences.

Minimum Required Qualifications

A PhD or equivalent and research experience in virology, cell biology, or a related field are required.

Preferred Qualifications

A minimum of one year of postdoctoral research experience is preferred. Preference to candidates with research involving, but not limited to, host cell-virus interactions, cell cycle and proliferation, cell signaling, immunological processes, cellular architecture and mechanics, protein trafficking, biology of the nucleus and gene expression.
