|Description of Work||
Based at the Scott Campus in Omaha, Nebraska, this faculty member will be housed in an academic unit relevant to their background and report jointly to that unit chair and the Associate Dean for Graduate Programs and Faculty Development in the College of Engineering. This position will be responsible for curriculum development, course delivery, oversight, administration and leadership of the Masters of Engineering Management program. Responsibilities would include 80% teaching and 20% service. The successful candidate will be expected to be significantly involved in the College’s teaching mission and teach a variety of courses at the graduate level in an online format, on topics such as engineering management, technical project management, and leadership. This appointment is intended for an individual who is dedicated to being a leader in educational innovation, curriculum development, and pedagogy. Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to participate in a variety of non-class activities which address the teaching mission such as advising, mentoring and outreach.
|Minimum Required Qualifications||
Candidate has at least one degree in an engineering field, and a graduate degree in Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Management or a related field.
Candidate has a Ph.D. in Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Management or a related field.
